This officially licensed reproduction sword is Narsil, the famous sword of King Elendil from the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Narsil was broken into shards when Elendil battled the dark lord Sauron, and Isildur used the hilt-shard of Narsil to cut the One Ring from Sauron's hand. Narsil's shards were used to forge into a new sword, Anduril, which would be used by Aragorn. This beautiful reproduction measures 52 7/8-Inch overall and features a 40 5/8-Inch blade constructed from AUS-6 stainless steel. The hilt offers a genuine leather-wrapped grip with a solid metal cross guard and pommel with an antique silver-plated finish and 24K gold plated fittings. The pommel is engraved with runes in the Elven language of Sindarin. This authentically detailed replica is a reproduction of the actual filming prop built by Weta Workshop of New Zealand and used in the motion picture triology, The Lord of The Rings.
