The HI 2222-01 is a microprocessor based pH, Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP), and temperature bench meter that is suitable for lab use. The meter features Manual or Automatic Temperature Compensation, can log up to 100 samples, and includes PC software interface. The electrode and probe are replaceable, prolonging the life of the meter, and the device comes with tailor made cleaning solutions to remove deposits from pH electrode to ensure accurate calibrations. Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) features provide data consistency.
Up to two point pH calibration can be performed using seven memorized (1.68, 3.00, 6.86, 7.01, 9.18, 10.01, 12.45) buffers. Hanna Calibration Check performs a set of diagnostic tests during calibration using the history of electrode slope and offset to detect problems and ensure accuracy. These diagnostics include enhanced calibration messages, and electrode condition and response time on the LCD display. A calibration reminder can be set to alert the user when too much time has elapsed since the last pH calibration.
Range is -2.00 to 16.00 pH + or - 0.01 pH at 20 degrees C, with a resolution of 0.01 pH. ORP range is + or - 699.9; 2000 mV + or – 0.2; 1 mV at 20 degrees C, with resolutions 0.1; 1 mV. Temperature range is -20.0 to 120.0 degrees C + or – 0.2 degrees C (excluding probe error) at 20 degrees C), with a resolution of 0.1 degrees C. Input impedance is 1E12 Ohm and the device operates on a 12 VDC adapter. Dimensions are 235 x 222 x 109 mm/9.2” x 8.7” x 4.3’’ (H x W x D), and weighs 1.3 kg (2.9 lbs.).
Wine pH meters are designed specifically for wine analysis and measure the acidity or alkalinity of a substance. They are commonly used by vintners, researchers, manufacturers, and hobbyists.
Hanna Instruments manufactures analytical instrumentation and supplies, including pH meters, electrodes, chemical reagents, and buffer solutions. The company, founded in 1978 and headquartered in Woonsocket, RI, meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 standards.
